Life is worth living
Some say I look at life through a rose colored glass, a phrase often defined as, “thinking of something as better than it actually is.” Some may see that phrase in a more negative light, being too naive, and overlooking the not to so happy parts of life.
But I see it otherwise.
I have lived 22 years (God-bless), and while age is relative, I am wholly aware that life is a conglomeration of the good, the bad, and everything in between. I live with an optimistic viewpoint not because I don’t see the grim realities of life, but because I see life in spite of them.
We are all human. We all feel emotion. We all have moments of bliss, of joy, of heart break, of sorrow. But they do not define us. How we handle each of those moments, does.
This blog is a mishmash of free-writes, topics I feel aren’t discussed enough, things that bring me joy, and things that bring me pain. But most importantly, my mindset on life. It’s changed the way I navigate through each day for the better, and if I am given the honor, maybe it can do the same for you.
With Love,
